Leslie from Metro Detroit: A Teacher with a Passion for Jewelry Making
Welcome to my world! My name is Leslie, and I'm proud to call the Metro Detroit area my home. My husband, Brian, and our lovely fur babies; Swagger, Bonnie and Scout share a cozy life. Although I'm a full-time middle school ELA teacher, I've always loved crafting jewelry since I was a little girl. My sister Dina and our mother Joan were my partners in crime, and we would spend hours creating beautiful pieces together. Eventually, our creativity expanded beyond jewelry, and we decided to share our passion with you all ! As our customer, we also consider you a friend. Hello there! My name is Dina, and I'm a native of Metro Detroit, just like you. My family is my pride and joy, and it consists of my husband Tom, our two lovely children Candice and Thomas, and our two furry friends Bugsy and Al. I have been an avid sewer ever since I was 10 years old when my mom, Joan first taught me the skill. Together, we created some truly beautiful pieces. Over time, we passed this talent down to my sister Leslie and eventually to my daughter Candice. The four of us enjoyed sewing together and had a great time. When Leslie turned 12, we decided to try our hand at jewelry making, and we found it to be a new and exciting way to express our creativity. We especially loved designing unique pieces for special occasions, and soon enough, we began making jewelry for our friends and family.
